The Trust's Objective:-

"To advance the education and welfare of the public in Russia in the subjects of
fire prevention and safety, fire fighting and the prevention and treatment of burns
and similar injuries by provision of training and equipment"


We aim to deliver this by sharing knowledge and experience gained in the UK in:-

                                                    1.    The prevention of fires and safe building design.
                                                    2.    Having an adequately equipped response to fires.
                                                    3.    Having the best treatment for burn and scald casualties.
                                                    4.    The effective and supportive rehabilitation of victims.


                                   
To date we have:-

                                            
   1.    Delivered four Dennis fire appliances to Kursk in December 2005.
                                                       A further three Dennis fire appliances March 2008.
                                                2.    Delivered a large consignment of fire and rescue equipment to Kursk.
                                                3.    Provided basic instruction on the pumps and ladders in Kursk.
                                                4.    Arranged and facilitated pump and ladder and vehicle maintenance
                                                       courses in England for Kursk Fire Officers.
                                                5.    Helped to introduce fire and other related safety education for
                                                       8-10 year old children into the school curriculum.
